Cambridge Technology, Inc. Announces Exclusive Digital Servo Development and Manufacturing Partnership with Smart Move GmbH

Cambridge, MA and San Jose CA, January 27, 2004 – Cambridge Technology, Inc., the market share leader in galvanometer-based optical scanning technology,today formally announced its exclusive partnership with Smart Move GmbH and the debut at Photonics West 2004 in San Jose, California this week of the first product to come to market from this cooperation - the patented Digital Control Center DC900 Series State Space DSP servo board for high performance galvanometer control.

With 5 years of dedicated Smart Move DSP State Space Servo technology R&D and over 1 year of cooperation with Cambridge Technology, the DC900 Series DSP Platform brings galvanometer positioning speeds to levels well beyond the best commercial analog servos on the market.
